Alphabet Wheels - Spin and Write!

I just listed a new collection of revised alphabet wheels! Your students will love this interactive activity to help become familiar with words that begin with a focus letter-sound and to have some practice in writing focus words.

Simply print, cut and assemble with a brad (split pin) and get spinning!

Students can write the focus words on a recording worksheet if you choose to add this component.

I started adding these wheels to my 'Let's Learn the Alphabet' packets back on the 16th January 2015! Gah! Time sure does fly! I have not finished adding them to the individual files, but I can now safely assure you that this will be done by the end of September.

For buyers not interested in the weekly letter packets, I have packaged each letter wheel into a single packet for you.

These revised pages will be added to this bundle by September 30th (original pages currently included).

Revising publications take a lot of time and is a completely optional task for me to carry out. I love doing it to keep my work current and fresh and give my followers the absolute best value. Thank you so much for your patience.

There are SO many great new pages to add - I just can't wait!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog - enjoy your day!

Alphabet Readers

My cut-paste-make-read alphabet readers have been completely revised - including this one for Dd

Students love creating their own books and these are perfect for early reading skills!

Find the d book in my TpT store.

And if you have the bundle, you may like to re-download to snag the freshened-up version!

Have a wonderful day friends, thanks so much for stopping by.

Five for Frunday

Hi friends!

I am a little late posting, but here nonetheless for Five for Friday!

1. Spring
So happy winter is done. We are now enjoying beautiful spring weather. I am ignoring the pollen-factor for now, and pretending that I love sneezing.

2. High Tea
I helped raise money for a local Girl Guide unit by drinking tea and eating delicious cakes, slices and sandwiches. What a tough day!

3. Cute Things
Would a week really be a week without something cute to buy? Fruit with sweet faces gets me ALL.THE.TIME.

4. Pineapple Art

My sweet little Sam wanted to help me paint yesterday. I love how it turned out, and he loved mixing colors and making new ones. Find my new Art Lesson packet at TpT HERE

I added a new bundle of 'edge it' borders to my TpT store. It is still on sale!

Head over to Kacey's blog for more Friday fun!

New Clipart

Hi friends! I am quickly checking in with some new clipart sets in my TpT store!

Scrappy Jungle Tiger includes 3 whimsical tigers and some accent pieces:

Scrappy Topper Kids are perfect for worksheets and resources that just need a pop of 'scrappy' in the corner.

Scrappy Little Writers were a request, as an addition to a little writing girl in one of my monthly sets. This collection will provide you with 20 different scrappy kids to choose from (10 designs, 2 skin tone options).

And the first 5 of my 'Edge It Color' sets have been listed. These have been on my to-do for a LONG time - it is great to have some ready. The first mini bundle includes all of the first 5 sets and it is heavily discounted today - hooray!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I wish you a fabulous and fun day with your class!

The Good Stuff

I am constantly reminding my kiddos to look for the good stuff instead of the bad. It is easy to get sucked down into the drama and negativity of people who are trying, aware or not, to cast a negative shadow over life at school.

One message I am constantly reaffirming is to shift focus to the kind people, the accepting people, the big-hearted people - and especially to be one yourself. Some sensitive kiddos seem to get bogged down by the dark forces in life - heck, even some of us big kiddos occassionally do!

I did this little sketch on the weekend and shared it on Instagram. I had several requests for a printable poster - so here it is!

Find it in my TpT store HERE
